Problem: a contract signed 14 March 2026, delivery due 1 August 2026 — how many days in hand?

1. Start: 2026-03-14.
2. End: 2026-08-01.
3. Difference: 140 days (end not counted).

Mistakes that shift dates by days

• Double-counting one end. If you need the final day to be "on the clock" for an event, add a day yourself — a numeric ticket "from" and a delivery "on" differ by exactly this.
• Mixing inclusive and exclusive language. Legal calendars often say "due by the 30th but no later than the 1st" and rely on precise conventions; the page counts the gap, not the policy.
• Counting weekend filtering too early. Thirty calendar days that include two weekends are 22 working days; run the specific tool each question needs, not one answer twice.
• Expecting time zones here. Dates are readings, surface timestamps; you will not be out by a day because of an hour difference.
• Years through February. Leap years add a day; trust the tool rather than mental 365 approximations across February.
